Find out your BMI in just a few simple clicks with Vhi’s handy calculator
Body Mass Index, or BMI for short, is the most commonly used tool to tell whether or not your weight falls into a healthy range relative to your height. It is used as an approximation to tell whether or not someone is overweight, normal weight or underweight.
Being overweight or underweight is associated with health risks – for example, obese people are more likely to suffer from heart disease, diabetes, breathing problems and some cancers. Being underweight carries the risk of fragile bones, fertility issues and a weakened immune system.
For these reasons, it’s important to keep yourself at a healthy weight. Check out the calculator below to see where you fall on the scale in a few easy clicks.
